The Holy Grail of Non-Trappist Belgian Ale
It is St. Bernardus Abt 12. I was first introduced to this beer in college by a fraternity brother and fellow beer aficionado, Allen. This is the beer equivalent of an iron fist in a velvet glove. 10%abv wrapped in epic flavor, with fruity flavors to complement its basic character as a brown ale. I’ve loved it since first taste, and the Publik House here in Boston has not helped my addiction by constantly having it on tap. Go to your nearest fine beer shop, grab some, and have a little taste of heaven.
